| 2005 Visual Arts at the Market Visual Arts at the Market is the two-dimensional art component of Kentucky Crafted: The Market, and is a juried program that provides wholesale and retail sales opportunities to Kentucky's painters, photographers, batik artists, printmakers and other fine 2-D artists. The 2005 Market in Louisville will include the work of 40 artists included in the Visual Arts at the Market program. Their booths will feature one-of-a-kind artwork as well as prints, notecards, calendars and other items created exclusively by Kentucky artists selected for the Visual Arts at the Market program! 2002 and 2004 KAC Individual Artists Fellowship Recipients Art Exhibit The 2004 Al Smith Fellowship Awards have been awarded to 29 visual and media artists in Kentucky through the Individual Artist Program of the Kentucky Arts Council. The Kentucky Arts Council Fellowships are $7500 awards that recognize artistic excellence of individual artists. This virtual gallery features the work of 23 visual and media artists from across the Commonwealth that have received Kentucky Arts Council Al Smith Fellowship Awards and is currently on display through January 29, 2005 in the Gallery at Actors Theatre, 316 West Main St. in Louisville. The gallery is open daily, concurrent with the theatre schedule and two hours prior to curtain time. |

2004 Al Smith Fellowship and Individual Professional Assistance Award Recipients The 2004 Al Smith Fellowship Awards have been awarded to fourteen visual and media artists in Kentucky through the Individual Artist Program of the Kentucky Arts Council. The Kentucky Arts Council Fellowships are $7500 awards that recognize artistic excellence of individual artists. In addition, twelve Kentucky artists have been awarded $1000 Professional Assistance Awards for continued development of their work. |

Kentucky Visions: 2004 Kentucky Visions: 2004 is a special art exhibition coordinated by the Kentucky Arts Council at the invitation of Governor Ernie Fletcher and First Lady Glenna Fletcher. 2004 marks the eighth annual exhibit to take place in the Governor's Mansion during these festive spring weeks surrounding the Kentucky Derby. |
