ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I like to present the viewer with an uncommon composition that he would not ordinarily experience or take the time to acknowledge with his own eyes. Getting up before dawn is one way of doing this. Placing the camera in an unusual position or angle in order to present to viewer with an anomalous perspective on the ordinary is another. I take pride in capturing an image that others find pleasing to look at. This is the highest level of gratification for me.
